Stuart Miller Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer

Stuart has led ByBox from a Silicon Valley start-up in January 2000 to a turnover of $120 million today. ByBox’ technology-enabled logistics solutions are deployed across the UK, France, Benelux, the US, Canada, Israel, New Zealand and South Africa. Stuart started his career at Accenture. Stuart focuses on strategic planning and prioritising the commercial and technology developments for ByBox, as well as maintaining high level relationships with key customers.

Stuart is a champion of small businesses and entrepreneurs and was appointed by Lord Young to the board of the Small Business Charter, an initiative which aims to encourage business schools and employers to get the best out of each other for the sake of the UK economy.

Stuart is also:

  • On the Strategic Advisory Board of the Loughborough University School of Business and Economics
  • Entrepreneur in Residence at the Glendonbrook Centre for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise.

Stuart fully believes in the power of invention and entrepreneurial spark, something upon which ByBox is founded. To ensure such traits run through ByBox’ DNA, he shuns the top-down leadership style, opting for the reverse so that rebellious attitudes and disruptive ideas can be allowed to grow and benefit the business.

Apart from ByBox, which is his second start-up, Stuart is passionate about entrepreneurship, photography, sociable cycling, wine and jazz.

Dan Turner Co-founder of ByBox and CEO ByBox Networks

Dan co-founded ByBox Holdings in 2001 on a mission to revolutionise logistics by delivering to electronic locker-banks instead of traditional addresses.

Dan has always been involved in driving growth at ByBox, having previously overseen ByBox’ technology and manufacturing divisions. Today, Dan runs the fast-growing Click & Collect division, providing the ByBox software and hardware technology to corporate and retail customers.

Outside of work, Dan is engaged with a number of organisations, promoting, encouraging and supporting entrepreneurialism wherever possible and in particular through his association with Bristol University. Dan is also a passionate and very able topiarist.

Steve Huxter Co-founder and COO

Steve co-founded ByBox and is currently Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for service delivery, technology development and all back-office support functions.

Steve started his career at Accenture (then Andersen Consulting) and applies his large-scale consulting experience to the successful implementation of process, structure and control into ByBox’ operational and technology development activities. Steve has held board-level positions in both public and private sector organisations. He has a broad range of experience including strategy development and delivery of mission critical programmes.

Steve is the fittest member of ByBox’ management team, having conquered several famous cycling summits and continues to complete more than 5,000 miles every year on his Brompton folding bicycle.

Mark Garritt Managing Director ByBox Field Support

Mark has headed up ByBox Field Support since its inception in 2003.

Mark’s career has been almost exclusively in niche logistics and specialist supply chains. He has worked with start-up companies including Document Interlink (DI), Insurance Courier Services (ICS) through to PLCs such as Hays.

As MD of ByBox Field Support, Mark is responsible for continuing to deliver ByBox’ sector-leasing SLAs as well as driving the innovation required to ensure ByBox remains Number 1 in UK field service.

Outside of driving ByBox, Mark is also a very accomplished racing driver (historic racing series).

Pete Rowse CFO

Pete joined ByBox in October 2014 to support the company’s further growth plans through the leverage of its technology and software in domestic and international markets, and to improve profitability by delivering synergy benefits following two large acquisitions in 2013.

His experience includes strategic planning, delivery of key international contracts with blue chips, key account ownership and line management of operations, logistics and sales functions. He has worked in UK and US for large corporates and VC backed companies.

Prior to joining ByBox, Pete led an IPO and subsequent fundraising for a AIM listed tech company and delivered a successful turnaround in the US as CFO of Delonghi America. He has also played key roles as CFO in a tech start up and rapid growth companies.

Pete is a committed 5-aside footballer and an occasional racer of off-road motorbikes.

Claudine Mosseri Group Services Director

Claudine and has been part of the ByBox group since 2004 and took on the role as Group Services Director in 2015. She is responsible for all customer relationships and focuses on providing customers a complete service and delivery solution so they can improve their efficiencies.

Prior to joining ByBox Claudine held the position of Communication Technician in the Royal Navy, specialising as an Arabic Linguist, before joining Hays DX as a PA to the Sales Director. It didn’t take long for Claudine to move into a customer focused role and move up the career ladder at an exponential rate.

Since joining ByBox after the company acquired Hays DX in 2004, Claudine has continued to work in customer focussed roles and is committed to help customers improve their efficiencies and see tangible results through the ByBox service.

Claudine’s authoritative demeanour is also put to good use outside of ByBox, where she is an accomplished singer and occasional busker.
