Electronic Lockers
Designed to meet the needs of the postal market, ByBox lockers provide a reliable, secure and user-friendly way for your customers to collect parcels/letters from a chosen location rather than have to wait somewhere for them to be delivered.
Extremely flexible and available in a variety of sizes and configurations, ByBox postal lockers/boxes appeal to both operators and their customers.
Handling everything from large to small parcels and letters with ease, the lockers can also be arranged in banks of columns of varying heights and colours to meet user-specific requirements, such as internal/external location, disabled access and operator branding in any desired combination.
Simple Solutions
The larger postal lockers feature a central console that is easy to use, functional, and quickly configured to operate with your existing operating procedures. The consoles run an embedded Linux operating system on PC-based hardware architecture that allows connection of standard peripherals.
The customer interface on the console features a 36cm colour touch screen, accepts credit card payments and can print self-adhesive postage labels for sending parcels.
Most importantly, the lockers can be connected via ADSL or 3G/GPRS to provide real-time track and trace, fully accessible via the Web. SMS, MMS or email messages can be sent to customers containing the access code they need to collect their parcel from the locker when they choose.
Flexible Design
Maximising use of space and providing a cost effective means of postal delivery for smaller items, ByBoxes are available in a wide variety of door heights (from 8cm up).
Driven by postal market demand, the resulting flexibility enables operators to have more boxes in the same place, increasing the number of available users whilst still providing a great many uses – for letters, small parcels etc.
Or they may choose fewer boxes in more locations, as each central consol can operate anything from 3 to 99 doors in each locker bank.
When flexibility and functionality are key, ByBox has the safe combination
